When I went to Amsterdam, I visited the famous Van Gogh Museum.
Van Gogh thought it was necessary to focus on his drawing skills first before working with
colors. Therefore, he started his journey focusing on learning the essential of figure drawing
and depicting landscapes in correct perspective.
And for my own creation I took inspiration from some of his incredible flower paintings.

The last picture is from the souvenir shop. There was a vase in the middle of the shop, full of
flowers that Van Gogh had painted before.
In my version of the flower painting, I wanted to keep it as minimalistic as possible. Only
focusing on the drawing techniques with different brushes.
I named my creation ´hana´, which means flower in Japanese, because I thought it sounded
nice and suited the picture.
